A pre-launch company building one thing: the control plane a physical retailer needs in order to accept stablecoin without handing custody of the money to anyone.
Why this shape
Most payment software earns its keep by standing in the middle: holding the money for a while, and charging for the privilege. That position is also where the risk, the licensing burden and the outages live.
ProxyPay is built the other way round. The merchant's funds stay in the merchant's own multi-approval vault. We issue the request, watch the public ledger, reconcile the day, and prepare proposals. Every action that moves money is authorised by somebody else's keys.
That constraint decides the roadmap. If a feature would require us to hold funds or hold keys, it is not a ProxyPay feature.
Separate companies
The disclosure in the footer of every page on this site names the wallet company that shares ownership with ours. The two are built by separate teams, on separate code, with separate infrastructure. Where they interoperate, they do it through the open request format, which each implements independently — as any other wallet may.
Where we are
- Stage
- Pilot. No production service, no live merchants, no metrics to publish. When that changes, this page changes.
- What exists
- The open request format and its conformance corpus, the control-plane policy and reconciliation engine, the register and operations surfaces, and the treasury and refund proposal model.
- What does not
- Production hosting, provider agreements, independent security review, and real-money qualification. These are named on the security page rather than hidden.
- Team and investors
- Not published at this stage. We would rather say nothing than decorate a page with people or logos that imply more than exists.
